As domestic leagues approach the final stages of the season, EA introduces a new promo showcasing dynamic items.

These unique items are initially released with an increase in rating and stats. However, each player has the potential to receive up to four upgrades, with each upgrade corresponding to a different achievement in their four domestic league matches after the event launch:

  • Play three matches;
  • Win two matches;
  • Score or assist, in the case of midfielders and attacker, or clean sheets, for goalkeepers and defenders;
  • Club scores 11 goals.

Frequently Asked Questions
FC 25 Fantasy cards are a Special item category assigned to a selection of players, replacing their regular cards at specific times.

These cards feature rating and stat updates and have the potential for further upgrades based on matches played, team wins, goals, assists and clean sheets in the remainder of the 2024/25 season.
Fantasy items have the chance to earn up to +4 IF upgrades based on individual and team contributions in the club’s next four domestic league matches from the promo event.

Individual:
  • If the player makes three appearances, they will receive a +1 IF Upgrade;
  • For attackers and midfielders, if the player achieves 1 goal/assist, they will receive a +1 IF Upgrade;
  • For defenders and goalkeepers, if the player keeps one clean sheet, they will receive a +1 IF Upgrade.
Team:
  • If their current club wins two games, they will receive a +1 IF Upgrade;
  • If their current club scores 11 goals or more, they will receive a +1 IF Upgrade.
Fantasy Hero items have the chance to earn up to +2 IF upgrades based on the form of one specific associated former club in the next four domestic league matches starting the promo release:

  • Associated Former Club wins two game from the four, they’ll receive a +1 IF Upgrade;
  • Associated Former Club scores 11 goals in the coming four matches, they’ll receive a +1 IF Upgrade.
Fantasy features both team-based and individual-based upgrades. A Player Item qualifies for the ‘Win’ and ’11 goals’ upgrades regardless of their participation in the four matches.

However, they are only eligible for the ‘Appearances’ and ‘Goals/Assists/Clean Sheet’ upgrades if they individually achieve those scenarios in their club’s next four games.
Assist data is sourced from Stats Perform. Assists are defined as the final touch that leads to the recipient of the ball scoring a goal.
The ‘two goals or assists’ upgrade is a cumulative count, indicating that a Player Item qualifies for the +1 IF upgrade if they score two goals, assist two times, or achieve a combination of one goal and one assist.
A clean sheet is granted to a defender or goalkeeper who doesn’t concede a goal while on the pitch and plays at least 60 minutes. If a player is substituted off before a goal is conceded, they will still meet the clean sheet upgrade condition as long as they played at least 60 minutes during the match.
Fantasy Upgrade Tracking will commence from the event’s launch. If a team plays on the same day as an item’s release, it will only be counted if the domestic league match begins after the item is released into the game.
Only domestic league matches qualify for Fantasy upgrade eligibility. As previously stated, the first domestic league match tracked must kick off after the item is released.
After a Fantasy player meets their upgrade requirement scenario, the corresponding player item will be updated no earlier than the following Wednesday.
If a player is no longer part of the roster of the club for which their item was released, they will become ineligible to receive any further additional upgrades in the future.
You can obtain a FC 25 Fantasy item through packs or the transfer market. To try your luck, visit the store to buy packs with coins or FC Points. These items can be found in any pack with player cards, including free ones, with higher chances in packs containing more players. Completing specific SBCs and objectives may also reward you with a Fantasy item.
