FC 25 LIGUE 1 POTM

The FC 25 Ligue 1 Player of the Month cards are exclusive items granted to monthly winners, featuring enhanced stats.

Each month, EA, along with their partners UNFP, RTL, and L’Équipe, meticulously select the most outstanding Ligue 1 players from the preceding month. Initially, a trio of players showcasing exceptional individual performances are identified.

The nominees for the Player of the Month (POTM) award are determined through a comprehensive evaluation of approximately 20 criteria. These nominees are then selected by a combination of public team captains’ votes (50%) and professional players’ votes (50%).

Subsequently, the winner is chosen through a voting process and is bestowed with a FC 25 Ligue 1 Player of the Month item, featuring boosted statistics. This item is made accessible through Squad Building Challenges (SBCs).

The FC 25 Ligue 1 POTM nominees are usually announced on the first, or eventually second, Monday of each month.

Each month, three players are selected to be voted as the best player of the month.

Typically, the FC 25 Ligue 1 Player of the Month is revealed on Thursdays, approximately ten days following the announcement of the nominees.

Upon the official announcement of the winner, EA promptly launches a Squad Building Challenge tailored for the player. Upon successful completion of the challenge(s), you obtain a tradable special POTM version of the victor, featuring enhanced statistics and dynamic artwork.

The first player of the month item was assigned to the award winner of September 2019, in FIFA 20.

Each season, Electronic Arts releases seven Player of the month items from Ligue 1.
